We, the current generation, have borne the socio-cultural and political behaviour of those who precede us, inheriting their discussions, privileges and responsibilities.  

Alas, we share this inheritance with you!

While we cannot explicitly change the present, we can implicitly impact our future. It is time we craft our own questions and use this inherited privilege as a site to house discussions, intervene and build an ethical future for ourselves and the generations that follow.  

We, the artists of the Architectural Association Interprofessional Studio (AAIS), cohort of 23-24, invite you to witness OUR questions, as we position art to discover what empathy is, and what it can be for US, and for those born later.

Initially showcased at Shoreditch Arts Club in London, this series of interdisciplinary performative events will next be featured at the MAMO Centre d’art de la Cité Radieuse de Marseille, an icon of avant-garde, contemporary art.

Consider this our invitation, to come and witness us take matters into our own hands.
