Parding your Beggon

The intent is to perform verses and gestures in a non sensical and abstracted theatrical performance. We wish to create membranous surfaces/objects/spatiality that can act as a performative skin for a group of performers/characters.

The performance seeks the essence of the ‘political’, the ‘social’ and the ‘cultural’ within the realm of quotidian human chemistry and social kinesthetics observed by the artists themselves, as opposed to a brand of grand narratives. The performance shall be scored through a scenography of simplistic yet absurdist gestures within this skin and space, along with an ensemble of sounds alluding to music.

The entire scenography shall be anchored or contextualised by a verse or poem that shall be narrated live, at times acting as the dialogues for the characters and at times acting as narration.
