The Music Of Our Dreams is a multi-media spatial performance. Sonic realms are generating an immersive place where our dreams live. It is echoing an ever-changing landscape. Unheard sounds, images come out to the surface from an ancient future and celebrate co-existence with all the living beings. Design of the space and the ritualistic atmosphere are informed by The Oracle of Delphi. Divided into four chapters it voyages through topics such as nature and human, identity, spacetime, and finally fantasies. The space is carved through movement, spatial interventions, and a video installation. The piece is created by a storyteller, three musicians, and two performers. Supported by a book with articles and interviews.
The work is an MFA thesis project of Can Aksan within the AA School of Architecture, AA Interdisciplinary Studio, Spatial Design, and Performance program.
