Between the 1st - 3rd of June at 7:00 pm, as part of Moult.
We present verses, gestures and behaviours in a non sensical and abstracted theatrical performance.
We craft a membranous surface/object/entity that acts as a performative skin, onto which a surreal domestic intimacy is posited.
The performance discusses the essence of the ‘political’, the ‘social’ and the ‘cultural’ within the realm of quotidian human chemistry. All of the anecdotes that the troupe present are self-referential and stem from the social kinesthetics observed by the artists themselves, as opposed to a brand of grand narratives.
The performance is scored through a scenography of simplistic yet absurdist gestures over this skin and space, along with an ensemble of sounds alluding to music.
The entire scenography is anchored or contextualised by verses or poems are orated live, at times acting as the dialogue between entities and at times acting as narration.
