InnerPulse: A Wearable Exploration

The endeavour to live according to spontaneous nature is often challenging. Observing new phenomena, immersing in irrational and chaotic forms, and harmonizing with the will that births these scenes becomes a form of self-expression. I believe the self is indefinable and requires perception. It can be circular or square; sharp or soft.

InnerPulse is a wearable interactive installation project that uses soft lines and angular shapes as a framework, with transparent threads connecting into blurry forms. I cannot see everything, and everything cannot see me. The flickering light represents the rhythm of my life and emotions, changing with the ebb and flow of feelings. By integrating heartbeat and light expression, this project aims to capture ineffable emotional experiences through physiological signals, connecting the individual's inner exploration with the pulse of life. The variations in heartbeat resonate with the process of seeking oneself, and often, I may be him, her, or it. However, I won't become any of them; I become all of them.
